Axios: [In the U.S.] "More than 1 million men surged into the job market last month, coming off the sidelines and either looking for a job or getting a job, compared to just 39,000 women, according to government data released Friday.
"The Labor Department doesn't offer an explainer on these numbers, but it's not a leap to assume this is about child care. Issues with schools and daycare centers kept women, who are typically primary caregivers to children, out of the workforce throughout the pandemic — and it's still happening."
Although leftists will decry this "gender gap", the fact is that many women have realized, especially over the course of the pandemic, that slaving away for some corporate leviathan in exchange for meagre pay isn't emancipation. Moreover, it's nowhere as important or consequential as raising human beings and ruling as matriarch of the little sovereignty that she and her family have claimed in this world; defending it against those pernicious forces that want us all dependent, dehumanized, and obedient. To that end, she will educate, since the state has failed in that regard; she will defend, since the police have been made eunuchs; she will build tomorrow, since our political elite live only for power today.
